Pre-Treatment Instructions
- Area must be shaved 24 hours prior to your appointment.
- No makeup/lotion/deodorant on the day of your appointment (on treatment area).
- Stay out of direct sunlight for at least 3 days prior to your appointment (& 3 days after).
- Do not use self-tanner or spray tan products for at least 2 weeks before your treatment to avoid injury.
- Avoid drinking more than 2 alcoholic beverages 24 hours before your treatment.
- Avoid waxing/threading/tweezing in the area for at least 4 weeks. Shaving is ok!
Post-Treatment Instructions
- Hair removal:
- Redness & bumps are normal immediately after your treatment. It is normal for the treated area to feel like a sunburn for up to a few hours. If the sensitivity continues, you can use a cold compress. If any crusting appears, you can use an antibiotic cream.\
- Apply aloe vera gel or equivalent to soothe and moisturize.
- During the first 48 hours, the treated area may be washed with a mild soap. Avoid rubbing to dry, only pat the skin dry.
- No makeup/lotion/moisturizer/deodorant for the first 24 hours. Keep the treated area clean and dry. Normal skin care regimens may be resumed the day after treatment if there is no redness, blistering, or crusting present.
- Avoid excessive sun exposure to reduce the change of dark or light spots for the course of treatment. Always use at least SPF 30 on the treated area throughout the treatment period and for 2 months following.
- Do not pick/wax/thread/tweeze/scratch the treated area during the treatment period. This will prevent you from achieving your best results.
- Hair growth varies. Expect to see life changing hairless results after about 6-9 sessions.
Vascular Treatment:
- Strong cooling at the physician’s discretion
- Apply ice packs or cold aloe vera gel
- If discoloration occurs, it usually resolves within 4-6 weeks
- Avoid hot showers, strenuous activities for 7-10 days post vascular treatment
- Avoid sun exposure and tanning beds throughout the course of treatment and use a SPF 30 or greater when exposed
- Results will vary from patient to patient

When will I see results?
You can expect to see a gradual decrease in the amount and thickness of the hair in the treated area.* Since this treatment only targets hair in the active phase of growth, multiple treatments are often needed to complete removal.
